Booyah! Yeah, this was one of my favorites too. I also have the Gatchaman 94 remake. Also very cool. Updated characters & vehicles by the original creator.

You mean the ORIGINAL Japanese Gatchaman? Not sure, but probably. I do have Vol1 on DVD. It has BotP 'Attack of the Space Terrapin' & 'Rescue of the Astronauts' (2.0 or 5.1 Eng ONLY) and the ORIGINAL Jap Gatchaman eps 'Gatchaman vs the Tutrle King' & 'The Evil Ghostly Aircraft Carrier Appears' (2.0 Jap + Eng Subs) as well as a G-Force ep 'The Robot Stegosaur' (Eng, Spanish, & Portugese [Brazil Dialect]) .

Yes, that's the one I mean. I couldn't remember the title, I'll do an eMule search and see what I can find. Thanks! :D

I found very little on Gatchaman. Try searching an Anime Donkey site. Can't remember the one I used to use, but they were Anti-English, so I stopped using it.

Postby mxyzptlk on Sat Jun 17, 2006 4:19 pm

actually the show was made in this way/order:

1) Kagaku Ninja-Tai Gatchaman (1972-1974) 105 eps japanese

2) Kagaku Ninja-Tai Gatchaman II (1979-1980) 52 eps japanese

3) Battle Of The Planets (US version) (1978) 85 eps english.this is a prequel to 2

4) Kagaku Ninja-Tai Gatchaman F l(1979-1980) 48 eps japanese.this is the sequel to 2

5) Ninja-Tai Gatchaman 1994 (1994-1995) 3 OVAS japanese.this is an alternative

version to 2 & 3

a bit confusing i admit, but it's the same way as it was with Transformers(also drawn in japan)

after the original show & the movie there was transformers:galaxy force & car robots

in the usa but the japanese sequel to the original show was

transformers:headmasters,masterforce,victory & so on
