I like the small one myself.. alot of people subconsciously skip banners these days.. too fed up with these "click here" banners... I'd go with the small one...

Great idea for the board style change in the corner

I'm sticking with subsilver, the other 2 are too narrow for my screen, If you want it dark why not try 'F1 Black 3D' and while we're at it, what about a spoiler mod

I really have no clue how to use Photoshop yet but I've had a play around

I have a grasp of photoshop now (see sig), any ideas what you want for the site banner, ie the size, piccy's or themes you want to use.

Well the Solaris one is limited to:
templates/Solaris/images/extra_blankforumlogo.png
as a background.

Galaxian must be the same size as it is now (or less height, width can't change), as it all pieces together to form the theme.

As for subsilver and/or any other logos, there are no restrictions what so ever.
They can be as elaborate as you like. I think for sig banners 120px high max, and 148px wide max is a suitable size.

As for content on them, anything.

oh and on the theme motif, I guess I'm still on the lookout for a decent replacement for subsilver that fills the screen

The other two stretch when needed, but I have a 1600x1200 res. so it does look a bit wasteful. Still Galaxian is a lot more stylish than the others imo

I'll find some piccy's of various well know films, series etc.. and have a play around. I have to admit, it's great fun

i dunno i was thinking something elaborate, but I notice that your going to get a contrast due to all the different colours in the background. I guess I'll take a look and see what colour looks best. Looks like I'll have to go on a font scout

what about this font

The red is clashing with the mult-coloured background which makes it hard to see... can you do textured fonts in photoshop? If you look at your sig, the yellow on the predominantly solid blue stands out so the text is easy to read.

Background is awesome btw Are you just getting lots of images and layering them up?
